Drivers
Two types of drivers: Fairway Drivers & Distance Drivers
Fairway drivers (also called Control Drivers) are not designed to travel as far or as fast as distance drivers. They are more accurate in flight than a distance driver but less accurate than a midrange disc. Fairway drivers have thinner rims than distance drivers.
Fairway drivers have a speed rating between 6 and 10.
Distance drivers have a sharp, bevelled edge and a wide rim that is great for cutting through the air at very high speeds. They are mainly used for shots off the tee pad that need to travel a significant distance towards the basket.
Distance drivers have a speed rating greater than 10.
